The Erasmus School of Creative Arts, or ESCA, was established in January 2010, completing four years of planning and building. It is a small, privately funded and run teaching facility owned and operated by Neil and Pam Erasmus.

ESCA is housed in a 100m2 space that is furnished with new, traditional Beech benches, each with bench dogs, a shoulder vice and a tail vice.

After class activities

Pickering Brook is in the undulating, Hills area east of Perth, offering excellent bush walking and mountain-biking amongst the Jarrah/Marri/She Oak forests that stretch as far as the eye can see. Read more

Wood, tools and materials

For those who intend to participate in our Bench Space Sessions and One-on-One Sessions, excellent stocks of consecutive, quarter-sawn Jarrah and Blackbutt are available in a range of sizes.
